This was inspired by two different things I saw in the copy of Newtype magazine I bought in Japan - the cool character design of the main character from Shigofumi (Fumika, although I didn't know that until I looked it up) and the style of the cover from an unknown anime DVD.
I decided to mix and match the two together... well, I'm not sure whether it's worked well or not but it certainly does look quite striking. I think her head is a little on the large side (a common fault with my works at the moment) and obviously I need to learn more about the placement of folds. I might have another go at the style at some point in the future
